OUTLINE OHIO X EMPOWER SPORTS EVENT

BOYS2MEN NON PROFIT

Our Mission:

Outline Ohio has teamed up with 5 non-profits this year for our annual Christmas fundraiser. It is important for Outline Ohio to make an impact on the community and the lives of others. Outline Ohio has spent the last 4 years with Empower Sports and Boy2men. As the relationship grew stronger, we came together to empower the kids apart of their program. We are here to make a difference and we hope we can encourage you to join us on our mission.

Outline Ohio's goal is to provide Stockings to 500 kids in Cleveland.

For each donation from YOU, Outline Ohio donate 1 beanie per donation.

When you empower someone, you turn a disability into ability. You transform doubt into confidence. You allow the impossible to become possible.

That’s what we’re all about. Through sports and fitness activities, we aim to develop social skills, self-esteem and physical well-being in individuals with special needs.

About Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio:

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio, our mission is to inspire and enable young people who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens.

About Division of Children and Family Services:

DCFS works to assure children at risk of abuse and neglect are protected and nurtured within a family and with the support of the community as we strive to end the over-representation of people of color in the child welfare system. Safety, permanency, and well-being are the goals for every child and family we encounter. DCFS provides safe and appropriate placement for children in County custody, and helps achieve permanency through reunification, legal custody or adoption.

About Empower Sports(will receive small gift card this year) :

Empower Sports is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and exercise programs for children and adults with various physical and cognitive disabilities. We value diversity, relationships, service, and empathy.

To put it simply, we are sports junkies. We grew up playing the games we love, and now as dedicated professionals we are working to provide those opportunities to those in need while fostering relationships between individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Programs emphasize socialization skills, self-esteem, teamwork, discipline and (most importantly) HAVING FUN!

About Boys2Men:

Boys2Men, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is focused on investing in the lives of young men ages 11-17.

We believe this strengthens our community and ultimately changes the world through transforming the futures of young men. Our driving mission is to help every boy become a better man. We have seen the transformative value of providing mentors and role models in boy’s lives.

We teach and model integrity, accountability, character, compassion and respect. Thus, the mission of our organization is mentoring teenage boys and transferring to them life skills to help them navigate their future. We accomplish this purpose by introducing them to future paths of success, such as college, trade schools, entrepreneurship opportunities, and the armed forces.

About OhioGuidestone:

Since 1985, OhioGuidestone has been successfully providing foster care services across Northeast Ohio. We are one of the largest providers of foster care services, and collaborate with the children services agencies in individual counties to identify foster homes for children in need of a safe, nurturing place to live. We place medically fragile children, teens, teens who are parenting and sibling groups.
